Privacy policy
This page explains which personal data ludo3d.dk processes, why and for how long, and what rights you have.
Data controller
Ludovic Trillot (LUDO 3D), Aarhus, Denmark. You can write to me at ludovic (at) trillot.dk.
The contact form
When you send a message through the contact form, I receive your name, your email address, the subject and the message itself. The details are sent as an email through Simply.com's mail server to my email at Google (Google Workspace), and I only use them to answer your message. Google stores my email for me and may do so on servers outside the EU.
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in being able to answer messages (Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation). If your message is about a possible collaboration, the basis is also that the details are necessary before we may enter into an agreement (Article 6(1)(b)).
I delete the message when the matter is closed, and no later than 12 months after I received it. If it leads to a collaboration, I keep it for as long as the collaboration requires.
To limit spam, the server stores for up to one hour a code calculated from your IP address (a hash), not the address itself. It is only used to make sure that the same connection sends at most 5 messages an hour.
When you visit the site
- The site sets no cookies when you visit it, and uses no tools for statistics, advertising or tracking.
- If you unlock a private project with the password, your browser stores two cookies for that project for 30 days (for example ludo3d_lock_reef and ludo3d_open_reef), so the site remembers that you have access. They are needed for the function you ask for yourself and are not used for anything else. If you enter a wrong password, the server stores for 15 minutes a code calculated from your IP address, so that at most 10 attempts can be made.
- Images, videos, fonts and the code for the 3D demos are loaded from ludo3d.dk itself. Your visit is therefore not registered by other services.
- If you choose a language with DA | EN at the top of the page or in one of the 3D demos, your choice (Danish or English) is stored in your browser, so the site and the demos remember it. The choice is not sent to anyone.
- If you try the render farm's test environment, it stores your choices in the app in your browser: light or dark theme, hidden jobs, who should not be asked, and which requests you have answered. They are not sent to anyone.
- The web host Simply.com, which runs the site, records technical details about visits in the server logs, for example IP address, time and which page was loaded. This is done to run and protect the site.
Disclosure
I do not pass your details on to others and do not sell them. Simply.com and Google only process them because they run the site and my email respectively.
Your rights
You have the right to know which details I hold about you, and to have them corrected or deleted. You can also object to the processing or ask for it to be restricted. Write to ludovic (at) trillot.dk.
If you are not satisfied with how I process your details, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.
