Introduction
This project was created during my time at 3D College Denmark, after two intense months of hard work and experimentation. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into a personal journey — a chance to explore my own workflow, storytelling, and technical limits in 3D design. BiG-Submam8 became both a creative escape and a deep learning experience.
Workflow
I handled every stage of the production myself — from early concept sketches to modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation. Each step revealed new challenges, especially in shaping the underwater environment and giving life to the central character. The project became a study in atmosphere and movement, blending design, narrative, and emotion into one world.
Collaboration
I was lucky to collaborate with a few talented people along the way: background music by Rumle Andersson and coral assets kindly donated by Simulated Image 3D. Their contributions helped complete the vision and gave the final piece the depth and tone it needed.
Conclusion
BiG-Submam8 represents a milestone in my personal and technical growth. It reminded me how rewarding it can be to fully own a creative process — from concept to final render — and how much collaboration can elevate even a small idea. This project will always stand as a reminder of how far I’ve come and how much more there is to explore in the world of 3D storytelling.
